FINIS (END)

конец, окончание; по Фоме, «окончание - не то, что является таковым благодаря другим вещам, но другие вещи есть, благодаря ему» (Thomas Aquinas. In lib. II Met., lect. 4, 316). «Конец - это то, что предельно в каждой вещи, и то, что содержит вещь, вот почему ничего не бывает без конца» (idem. In lib. X Met., lect. 5, 2028).
